Set Up
The first section of creating a template is about setting up. Here you will define the vendor, product and database names.
You also have the option to import a schema from your computers files. These may be XSD or CSV format. You may add as many as you wish by clicking the ‘add another file button.
You will also be asked to select whether the template is part of a datafeed, and to set the relevant parameters if so. As well as selecting if it is part of combined regulators and which countries issue it if so.

This screen allows you to create tables from the nodes in the schema you have imported. Click a node to select it, then click the attributes you wish to include in the table. Then click create table when you are ready.
You may create as many tables as you wish.
Click the tabs across the top to switch between the different schema files you have imported (if you have imported more than one)

To add a mapping click ‘add field mapping’ which will take you to the mapping screen so you can select your field mapping. The mapping will entail selecting a field from one of the database tables from your schema, and then mapping this to a field in our data model.
Once complete you will return to the summary with the mapping you added displayed.

This is the mapping screen. You will be able to select a field from the schema, then from the data model. The data model has four parts, group subject cluster, subject cluster, field type and field name. You will need to work your way across the screen by clicking a card from each of these.
Upon selecting a field name you will be taken to filter conditions to add additional filter conditions.
However if you do not wish to add any filter conditions you can just click the add mapping button on the filter conditions screen to complete the field mapping and be taken back to the mapping summary screen.

Set Up
The first section of creating an extract template is about setting up the extract. Here you will define extract wide template settings.
For example, naming the template, giving it a description, defining the extract structure and relationships.
At the end of the set up you will have the option to import a CSV to automatically create columns to map, or you can start blank and add columns manually.

The final step of the set up is to either import a CSV to automatically create columns to map, or you can start blank and add columns manually.

After this you will need to set the type of extract, and then you can begin mapping.

This is the mapping summary screen. You will see either a list of the columns you imported through your CSV, or a blank table which you can add columns to using the ‘add new column +’ button.
The next step is to click ‘set type of extract’ to set up the type of extract you wish to complete.
Then click ‘set mapping’ on a column to begin the mapping for that column. Once you have mapped a column you will return to this summary screen, but with the mapping you have added summarised.

Distribution works by finding entities of interest, and the records that the entities are comprised of. From the entity master connects each record through category, reference group code and list (source) and allows a user to create an extract that can select a combination thereof.
